The patterning of the Tree Stripe fabric is driven by the process used to produce it. The half-drop repeat is created to be flexible enough to account for the variation and imperfections inherent in hand-printed textiles. The multiple screens used for these two- and four-color versions are shaped and overlapped to mitigate the effects of shifting fabric and imperfect alignment.
