A previous piece, the Map Cabinet, was the starting point for the Corrugated Bench. Working within the constraints of the bending jigs created for the cabinet, the bench explores other options in materials, joinery, and construction methods. The screen-printed pattern is a Chantilly lace, deconstructed and re-formed into a repeat pattern based on the grain in the walnut veneer.
